The 2025 Roosevelt County Fair Horse Show started Tuesday, Aug. 5, at 9 a.m. at the Culbertson Saddle Club.

The Round Robin Showmanship Contest gives an opportunity for the champion showman from the 4-H/ FFA divisions in each species of large animals to compete head-to-head for best allaround showman honors at the fair. In this contest each contestant is judged on their showmanship skills with each species of beef, swine, goat, sheep and horse.

2025 4-H Indoor Exhibits Awards
Across the county, 4-H members each year complete their yearly indoor projects with conference judging exhibits. The 4-H interview judging is an opportunity for 4-H members to talk to the judges about their static exhibits and share their trials and lessons they learned. Each interview or conversation with the judge was held on Thursday, Aug. 7, at the fairgrounds in Culbertson. Individuals are awarded ribbons for their exhibits, while some went above the judge’s expectations and received a Judge’s Choice ribbon.
