FWP Host Project Wild Teacher Workshop At Fort Peck
Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks will host a free Project Wild Teacher Professional Development at Fort Peck Interpretive Center on Friday, Aug. 1, from 4 to 10:30 p.m.
Included is an evening field experience with an FWP bat biologist at the Fort Peck Downstream Campground.
FWP staff will lead a fun, hands-on training for teachers including the award-winning Project Wild curriculum and FWP resources.
Teachers will participate in several nature-themed activities that they can take home to use in their classrooms.
The curriculum guide and other materials will be given to teachers at no cost. Teachers also can earn 6.5 Continuing Education credits by attending the workshop.
Join FWP for a great time learning how to integrate fish and wildlife education into your classrooms. The workshop will be very interactive, with lessons from the curriculum guide that teachers can duplicate with their students.
