Bulls Compete In Games Against Glendive, Outlaws

The Froid Bulls fell to Glendive by a 20-11 margin during home legion baseball action on Tuesday, May 27.

After Glendive scored four runs in the top of the first, the Bulls responded with two runs in the bottom of the frame as Henry Kukowski and Tristan Tommerup singled and scored in the inning. Plenny Williams connected for a single to knock in a run in the frame.

The Bulls gained a 5-4 lead with three runs in the bottom of the third. Crossing the plate were P. Williams, Teegan Fossum and Trent Williams.

The Blue Devils moved ahead with six runs in the top of the fourth. The Bulls fought back with five runs in the bottom of the fourth for a 10-10 deadlock. Scoring were Rylan Young, Kukowski, Tommerup, P. Williams and Van Fellon.

The game was even at 11-11 until Glendive accounted for nine runs in the top of the seventh inning.

Glendive won the second game by a 13-0 final. The Blue Devils jumped out to a 9-0 lead in the first two innings.

Hitting singles for the Bulls were Brooks Solem and Kukowski, The Bulls fell to the Miles City Outlaws, 13-2, on May 18. The Outlaws accounted for seven runs in the second inning.

Scoring for the Bulls in the fifth inning were Fellon and Young.

Kukowski connected for a double in the game.

The Outlaws took the second game by an 11-1 margin.

Miles City gained a 6-0 lead during the first two innings.

Tommerup scored in the fourth inning. After receiving a walk, Tommerup came home on a passed ball.

Offensive highlights included a double by Fossum.

The Bulls will compete at a tournament in Watford City, N.D., this weekend.
