Lions Club Presents Flags To Local First-Grade Students


The Wolf Point Lions Club distributed more than 40 American flags to Southside Elementary School’s firstgrade students as part as its annual program on Wednesday, April 2.
Club president Dave Fyfe and vice president Carolyn Rees represented the local Lions during the presentations.
In addition, 15 Frontier School students received flags earlier in the day.
Fyfe noted the club has been involved in the program for at least each of the 30 years that he has been a club member.
The Lions also provided “Our Flag” booklets to each of the students.
The pamphlet provided information for proper care and treatment of the United States flag. Also included was flag facts.
