Golfers Earn Honors At Big Cup Classic

A busy tournament schedule at the Wolf Point Airport Golf Course kicked off with the Big Cup Classic on Saturday, May 30.

The tournament attracted 29 four-person teams.

Sponsors of the tourney were Independence Bank, Tavern and Northern Prairie Auto Sales.

Earning first place with a net score of 46.5 was the team of Jeremiah Whitright, Brock Copenhaver, Tim Kulbeck and Mickey Copenhaver.

Placing second with a net score of 48.8 was the team consisting of Dennis Fourbear, Wilfred Lambert, Rena Lambert and Ashley Porras.

The team of Kate Webb, Whitney Matthews, Shelby Tatafu and Randi Kelly placed third with a net score of 49.18.

Taking fourth at 49.19 was the foursome of Justin Hernandez, Spencer Rush, Raymond Keiser and Deke Bridges.

Placing fifth with a net score of 49.68 was the team of Tyrell Smith, Verdell Thunderhorse, Louden Smith and Weston Smith.
