The Roosevelt County Sheri #8217;s O_ce responded to 193 calls from April 27-May 4.
The calls included: April 27
Deputies responded to a motorcycle crash in Wolf Point involving a young man. The Wolf Point ambulance and the Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice also responded. Deputies provided medical care until the ambulance arrived.
A female reported a possible murder outside of Wolf Point’s city limits. Nothing was found when deputies and FPTDLJ searched an abandoned camper.
April 28
Deputies received a report of a missing male identified as Gene Youngman from his granddaughter. Deputies and FPTDLJ were informed.
April 29
Deputies assisted FPTDLJ and Bureau of Indian A irs in executing a search warrant in Wolf Point. An adult female was arrested on authority of a tribal arrest warrant. She was transported to tribal jail.
Deputies assisted FPTDLJ at Tribal Express in Poplar when a male reported he was assaulted and robbed. He said two males and a female approached him, punched him in the face, stole money from his wallet and broke his cellphone.
April 30
Deputies assisted FPTDLJ in Poplar’s tribal housing when a female was assaulted by an adult male. FPTDLJ placed the male under arrest. The female was taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
A party reported that a neighbor in Wolf Point was stabbed in the hand. Wolf Point Police Department and FPTDLJ also responded. The suspect was very combative. One o_cer had his hand injured. FPTDLJ arrested Isaiah Owens, 27, on multiple charges, including assault of an o_cer.
May 1
During a walk-through of TJ’s Quik Stop in Poplar, Andrew Heser was arrested on authority of a state warrant.
May 2
An adult male in Brockton reported that someone stole his cellphone, valued at $500. The report was given to Fort Peck Tribes prosecutor’s offi ce. Deputies received a request from Buckhorn Bar in Poplar to remove an individual who was told that he’s not wanted at the business. Durand Zoanni, 42, was charged with criminal trespass and hindering law enforcement.
May 3
Deputy coroner assisted ambulance services for a report of a deceased individual in Wolf Point’s tribal housing. The male appeared to have died from natural causes.
