Last week one day, we woke to 14 degrees, wind and snow on the ground.
Megan Fast, daughter of Jared and Susan Fast of Lustre, married Jonathan O’Donnell on Saturday, April 11, at the Grace E Church in Billings in a beautiful wedding. Several families from Lustre attended the wedding. Megan is the granddaughter of Martin and Karen Fast.
The Academic Olympics were held in Glasgow for the Junior High on Wednesday, April 15. The Lustre team took first in written tests. Their teacher, Mrs. Mullet, gave the following results for those placing in the top 10 in the various subjects. Harlo Reddig placed 10th in science, second in English, and first in math. Nancy Schiller placed eighth in English and eighth in math. Aubrey Klatt placed fourth in math. Liam Reneke placed seventh in math. Justin Schiller placed 10th in social studies, first in English and second in math. Good work students!
The LCHS students participated in District Music Festival this weekend at Poplar. You may hear some of their entries at their upcoming spring concert.
The spring concerts for both LCHS and LGS are scheduled on April 29. The concert for the Lustre Grade school begins at 2 p.m. at the LGS gymnasium. The concert for the LCHS begins at 7 p.m. at the MB Church.
