Jackson Keeps Busy At School, Work
Senior Profile
Wolf Point High School senior Josh Jackson likes many things about the school and community.
He has been a member of the basketball team since his freshman year. Good memories have included watching the 2022-2023 team qualify for the state tournament.
“I liked going to every game knowing that we would win because of the seniors,” Jackson said.
Other hobbies for him are hanging out with friends, fishing and riding his four-wheeler.
His favorite class is Native American Studies.
Favorite teachers include Angela Swenson, Abby Traeholt and Mandi Campbell.
After school each day, he works at Albertson’s from 3-7 p.m.
“I enjoy it. I keep myself busy,” Jackson said of the job.
As a “floater,” his duties include stacking shelves, bagging and unloading trucks.
“I like my co-workers too,” he said.
At the recent prom, he walked the grand march with his nephew, Kai, who will turn 2 years old in April.
“I love him and appreciate him a lot. He reminds me of me,” Jackson said. “He was a little scared and timid.”
After high school, Jackson plans to join one of the service. His hope is joining the marines. He then wants to be a CDL truck driver and maybe a firefighter as well.
