Wolves Prepare For District Tourney

Wolf Point enters the District 2B basketball tournament as the sixth seed in both the boys’ and girls’ divisions. The tournament starts on Thursday in Malta.

In the boys’ division, the Wolves will meet third-seeded Glasgow at 6 p.m. Other first-round games feature fourth-seeded Poplar facing fifth-seeded Plentywood at 4:30 p.m. and Fairview playing Harlem at 7:30 p.m. Top-seeded Malta receives a first-round bye.

The Lady Wolves will open against Poplar at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. Other first-round contests include Harlem playing Fairview at noon and Malta taking on Plentywood at 3 p.m. Top-seeded Glasgow receives a firstround bye.

The top four teams advance to the divisional tournament in Shelby.
