Lady Wolves Lose In Harlem
Wolf Point’s girls’ basketball team lost a tough 40-32 game in Harlem on Friday, Jan. 9.
Harlem led by an 11-10 margin at half-time, but the Wolves pulled even, 25-25, in the third quarter. Ma’Kenzie Jackson accounted for eight points in the third quarter for the Wolves. Jorilynn Black Eagle added five points in the period.
The Wildcats outscored Wolf Point by a 15-7 margin in the fourth period for the league victory.
Jackson and Mattie Azure led the Wolves with 10 points each. Azure hit two three-pointers in the contest.
Also scoring were Black Eagle with seven, Amya Martinez with four and Addy Smith with one.
Kashlyn Speak Thunder led Harlem with nine points and J’Lynn Morgan added seven points.
