Brockton Downs Culbertson
The Brockton Warriors kept winning with home victories over Culbertson on Saturday, Jan. 10.
In the boys’ contest, the Warriors won by a 73-35 final.
Brockton led 18-8 at the end of the first quarter and held a 35-21 half-time advantage.
The Warriors outscored the Cowboys by a 23-7 margin in the fourth period.
Top scorers for Brockton were Jarid Fasthorse Jr. with 19 and Josh Firemoon with 17 points. Others reaching double figures were Miles Boxer Jr. with 11, Colter Nygard with 11 and Tefton Bear with 10. Ronnie Blackdog had three and Weston Lambert added two.
Leading the Cowboys were Plenny Williams with 15, Ian Snyder with 13 and Brooks Solem with nine. Kaden Featherston scored six and Cal Steppler had three points.
Brockton’s girls won by a 66-34 final.
Brockton jumped out to a 26-11 lead in the first quarter and held a 44-20 half-time advantage.
Having big nights for the Warriors were Tamryn Bauer with 29 and Quintana Young with 21 points.
Also scoring were Marlene Fish with 12, Raykira Runsabove with two and Reese DeCoteau with two.
