Vicky Perry
Vicky “Gummer” Lynn Perry, 53, of Poplar died Oct. 25, 2025, at the Ae Kuakwaache Care Center in Crow Agency.
She was born on Aug. 18, 1972, to Victor Perry and Faye Shegonee-Perry in Poplar.
She attended Poplar Schools, and Chemawa Indian Boarding School in Salem, Ore. She later attended Anaconda Job Corps Center where she successfully earned her GED and received her painting certificate, both of which she was very proud of doing.
On April 28, 1988, her first daughter, Alisa Marie Perry was born. Ten years later, on Nov. 4, 1998, her second daughter, Shelby Rose Renz was born.
She was a single mother most of her life. However, in her final years, she returned to her first love, Levi Crowe. The couple remained together until his death in 2022.
Throughout her life, she worked at Siverwolf Casino and for Nancy’s Housekeeping. She also volunteered for the Poplar Senior Citizen site and the Poplar Head Start Center.
She enjoyed listening to music, watching movies and playing her favorite keno game, Cow vs. Alien, at the Buckhorn Bar. But, perhaps her most favorite pastime of all was walking to go visit family and friends. One
