Class C Runners Place At State

Runners from Frazer and Brockton each competed at the Class C state cross country meet held in Missoula on Saturday, Oct. 25.

In the girls’ standings, Brockton placed ninth as a team with 85 points and Frazer was 16th at 173 points. Drummond won the team title with 15 points.

Granite’s Addi Lilyquist was the individual champion with a time of 20:13.96.

Brockton’s Braelynn Demarrias placed 22nd with a time of 23:32.55.

Madalyn Fish of Brockton took 32nd at 23:59.05. Tamryn Bauer was 57th with a time of 25:45.33.

Taylor Cummins finished 62nd with a time of 26:02.63. Skylar Cummins was 87th at 28:15.30. Olivia Erickson placed 90th at 28:57.22. Marlene Fish was 98th at 31:50.12.

Leading Frazer’s girls was senior Noli Sibley in 45th place with a time of 24:55.52.

Isabelle Even took 82nd place at 27:43.31. Brianna Beston placed 92nd at 29:19.70.

Cascade came away with boys’ team title with 18 points. Drummond’s Dawson Parke ran the course in 16:57.35 for the individual championship.

Brockton’s boys finished in 15th place with 147 points. Frazer took 18th with 180 points.

Brockton’s senior Miles Boxer Jr. earned 16th place with a time of 18:53.58.

Daniel Segubiense took 66th place at 20:59.31. Joshua Firemoon was 84th at 21:32.36. Lynn Bets His Medicine took 134th at 26:35.66.

Frazer’s Gabe Beston finished in 43rd place with a time of 20:04.38.

Bryce Fourstar placed 63rd at 20:52.71.

Also placing for the Bearcubs were Preston Beston in 96th at 21:56.98 and Cassius Smoker in 129th at 24:47.98.
