Athletes Place At Frazer Cross Country Invitational


Cross country athletes from Wolf Point, Poplar, Frazer and Brockton performed well during the annual Frazer Invitational held on Thursday, Sept. 25.
Wolf Point’s girls placed fourth in the team standings with 43 points. Harlem topped the field with 17 points.
Wolf Point’s eighth-grader Cali Gorder ran to a firstplace finish with a time of 20:37.9. Richey/Lambert’s Brynne Hill earned second at 21:52.4.
Cadence Bouldin of Wolf Point placed 12th at 23:12.9. Lakealah Mays earned 40th place at 26:34.9.
In the boys’ division, Harlem’s Ethan Walker finished first with a time of 16:13.0. The Wildcats earned first as a team with six points.
Wolf Point’s Ezekiel Payne placed 66th at 24:19.9. Teammate Kevin Brock was right behind in 67th place at 25:13.6.
Poplar’s boys earned second place in the team standings with 24 points.
Eljin Grey Bear led the way for the Indians by taking fifth place with a time of 17:38.7.
Poplar’s Jayden Eder placed 10th at 17:55.1. Isaac Irizarry also made the top 15 by placing 11th at 18:04.2.
Ryder Olson took 22nd place with a time of 19:18.6. Wilder Bearcub ran the course in 19:48.2 for 29th place.
Raylando Red Eagle had a time of 20:38.0 for 38th place. Mickey Failing took 41st at 20:41.1.
Trentin Youpee was 45th at 21:16.8.
Poplar’s girls took second in the team standings with 26 points behind Harlem’s 17 points.
Poplar’s Mila Gramling finished in sixth place with a time of 22:27.7. Teammate Emilyann Meyers earned 10th place at 22:49.3 Kellyn Azure ran to a 14th place showing with a time of 23:20.2 Blake Follette placed 17th at 23:45.1. Amelia Weeks took 23rd at 24:19.8. Harley Daniels was 25th at 24:27.7. Liberty Boadle placed 38th at 26:17.4.
Brockton’s girls took sixth place with 52 points at the meet.
BraeLynn DeMarrias ran to a seventh-place finish with a time of 22:36.8.
Madalyn Fish took 16th place with a time of 23:43.7.
Tamryn Bauer was 41st at 26:38.4. Taylor Cummins placed 42nd at 27:28.5.
Skylar Cummins ran the course in 28:51.3 for 48th place. Raykira Track was 58th at 32:02.3.
Brockton’s boys earned fourth with 54 points at the meet.
Leading the Warriors were Joshua Firemoon with a 12thplace showing at 18:23.9 and Miles Boxer Jr. by placing 13th at 18:24.0.
Daniel Segubiense placed 44th with a time of 21:14.0.
Frazer’s boys took seventh in the team standings with 77 points.
Gabe Beston finished in 16th place with a time of 18:33.7.
Bryce Fourstar placed 36th at 20:29.2. Preston Beston was 48th at 21:49.5.
Cassius Smoker took 50th with a time of 22:01.0. Ronald Round Face was 70th at 26:30.9.
Leading Frazer’s girls was Isabelle Even with a time of 27:40.2 for 43rd place. Noli Sibley placed 44th at 27:51.0.
BriAnna Beston placed 47th with a time of 28:10.7.
Elli Mail took 50th at 29:26.8. Cassidy Mail took 51st at 29:29.9.
Aubrey Mail placed 53rd at 29:37.6. Bethany Hotomanie was 57th at 30:16.8.
