Hearings Conducted In District Court

The sentencing of Daniel Patrick Steudle was one of the hearings conducted in front of district court judge Benjamin Fosland on Wednesday, Sept. 10.

Based on a plea agreement, Steudle received a three-year sentence with no time suspended for the offense of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, meth. He was given credit for 159 days served.

Breanna Luv Rahn-Lowe denied two allegations of violating the terms of her probation. The alleged violations were for possession of alcohol or illegal drugs and failure to meet with her supervising officer. She is currently serving an eight-year deferred sentence with three years suspended.

Fredrick Jamison denied three violations of breaking his probation including whereabouts unknown, violation of residence and failure to report. Another hearing was scheduled for Sept. 16.

Bond for Anthony Douglas Miller was increased to $5,000. Miller said he wasn’t contesting the increase because he doesn’t currently have a place to live in the area. He has a change of plea hearing scheduled for Sept. 23.

Theodore James Crowe made not guilty pleas to the charges of assault of a peace officer, a felony, misdemeanor assault and misdemeanor assault.

Maximum penalty for the felony charge is a $50,000 fine and not less than two years or more than 10 years in prison or both. An omnibus hearing was scheduled for Oct. 15. His bond was reduced from $12,000 to $5,000.

Charissa Josette Boast made a not guilty plea to the charge of criminal possession of dangerous drugs. Maximum penalties are five years in prison, a $5,000 fine or both. An omnibus hearing was scheduled for Oct. 15.

Taylor Nygard made not guilty pleas to the felony charge of criminal mischief and the misdemeanor charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Maximum penalties are five years in prison and a $5,000 fine for the felony, and a $500 fine and six months in jail for the misdemeanor. An omnibus hearing was set for Oct. 15.
