Tribes Fund Sewer Improvement Projects
The Fort Peck Tribal Executive Board held its full board meeting on Monday, Sept. 8.
The enrollment office was approved for a move to the BTFA office.
Task orders 38 and 39 for the Brockton and Frazer Sewer Improvement Project were approved..
The TTP/IRR Program was approved to purchase a quick attach post driver in the amount of $10,354.
The board approved a request from FPHA to hire Louella Douglas back as the housing director.
A request was approved for the Tribal Health Department that all financial, support revenue cycle staff will be transferred to the BIA oil and gas offices.
The Tribal Operation Officer was approved to disburse payment to Sonosky & Chambers for legal services rendered for the month of July in the amount of $41,146.96.
The FY2026 food distribution adjusted budget proposal for fiscal year period Oct. 1, 2025, through Sept. 30, 2026, was approved.
The following individuals were approved as election commissioners: Myron Spotted Bird (Fort Kipp), Sasha Fourstar (Frazer), Donovan Red Boy SR (Brockton/Riverside), Jane DeCoteau (Poplar 1), Diana Diserly-Tuttle (Poplar 2), Kyra Brown (Wolf Point 1), Raine Adams (Wolf Point 2) and Margaret Payne (Oswego).
A contract between the Fort Peck Tribes and Cascade County for Juvenile Correction Center was approved.
The board voted to approve the Rhonda Beaver consulting contract beginning Sept. 8, 2025 and ending March 8, 2026. Beaver’s contractor duties will include organizational development, policy and procedure development, program oversight and integration, contract and compliance management, infrastructure and systems, stakeholder engagement and monitoring and evaluation.
TEB is the duly elected body representing the Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes of the Fort Peck Reservation and is empowered to act on behalf of the Tribes. All actions shall be adherent to provisions set forth in the 1960 Constitution and By-Laws. The next full board meeting is set for Sept. 22 in Poplar.
