Gorder Runs To First Place

Wolf Point eighth-grader Cali Gorder ran to first-place honors at the Poplar Invitational held on Saturday, Sept. 6.

Gorder finished with a winning time of 21:33.27. Poplar’s freshman Journey Gourneau placed second at 21:42.63.

In the boys’ division, freshman Andrew Williamson placed ninth at 20:41.22. The top time was 17:53.65 by Plentywood’s senior Dean Sampson.

Wolf Point sophomore Ezekiel Payne took 25th place at 23:00.45.

Kevin Brock, a junior for Wolf Point, took second in the junior varsity race with a time of 24:50.73.
