Doubles Teams Advance To State

Both of Wolf Point’s doubles teams qualified for the state tournament during the divisional tourney in Glendive last weekend.

Lauren Rodenberg and Riley Schwarzrock had a record of 2-1 and placed third at the tournament. Hailey Gray Hawk and McKinlee Paulson took fifth place at the tourney.

Winning one singles match each were Tanna Guldborg, Bella Sanchez, Arianna Mee and McKenzie Rodenberg.

Guldborg will be the team’s alternate at the state tournament in Missoula since she is Wolf Point’s top qualifier.

“I’m extremely proud of all the players this year. Their dedication and hard work was very inspirational,” Coach Dan Horsmon said.
