Jordan’s Kelly Murnion was the winner in two events during the Frontier Days’ rodeo held in Culbertson.

Murnion earned first in bareback riding with a score of 126. Placing second was Carson Hildre of Velva, N.D.

Murnion also took top honors in bull riding with a score of 72.

Miles City’s Quanah Glade had a score of 64 for top honors in saddle bronc.

Glendive’s Ben Ayre finished in 10.3 seconds for first place in steer wrestling.

Poplar’s JC Crowley earned top honors in tie down roping with a time of 9.7 seconds. Glendive’s Ayre was second at 10 seconds.

Sidney’s Kenzie Pennington had a time of 17.67 for first in barrel racing. Westby’s Talli Else finished second at 17.93 and Brittney Sporer of Cody, Wyo., took third at 17.94 seconds.

Jace Bishop and Wyatt Schearer of Belt earned first in team roping at 7.0 seconds. The Circle team of Blayne Hubing and Jon Hubing was second at 7.3 seconds. Dalton Wahl and Flint Hance of Circle were third at 11.4. Placing fourth at 19.5 was the Poplar team of Lane Kvien and Larry Handy.

Tying for first in ladies breakaway were Geraldine’s Ellie Meeks and Jordan’s Tori Murnion at 2.3 seconds. Circle’s Shaylee Wahl finished third at 3.0 seconds.

Sidney’s Skylar Rodgers earned first in junior barrels at 18.43 seconds. Helena’s Tye Brown took second at 18.45 seconds.

Brown earned first in junior breakaway at 4.1 seconds.

Steve Sherwood of Grace was the winner in senior men’s breakaway at 20.4 seconds.
