County Reports 21 Active COVID Cases

Roosevelt County reported 21 active COVID cases as of Friday, Feb. 24. There have been 3,998 total cases in the county. Roosevelt County Health Department hosts COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Wolf Point the first and third Thursdays of the month, and in Culbertson on the fourth Thursday. Clinics for children 5-11 years of age are held every three weeks on Fridays. Call 406-653-6223 for a COVID vaccine appointment.

Area Statistics

Daniels County had one active case as of Friday, Feb. 24. The county has 483 cumulative cases. Valley County reported 19 active cases as of Friday, Feb. 24. The county has 2,158 cumulative cases. In McCone County, there were zero active case as of Friday, Feb. 24. There have been 451 cumulative cases.

Phillips County had four active cases as of Friday, Feb. 24. There have been 1,145 cumulative cases in the county.

For Richland County, there were four active cases as of Friday, Feb. 24. There have been 3,002 cumulative cases.

Sheridan County had 10 active cases as of Friday, Feb. 24. There have been 912 cumulative cases in the county.

Statewide

According to Montana health officials, the state’s total number of known cases now stands at 328,668 since the start of the pandemic. Around the state, there are 958 active cases and 790 newly reported cases in the last week. By Friday, Feb. 24, a total of 3,651 deaths have been reported statewide. A total of 14,142 individuals have been hospitalized.

North Dakota Statistics Williams County, N.D., had 24 active cases as of Thursday, Feb. 23.

McKenzie County, N.D., had four active cases as of Thursday, Feb. 23.

Divide County, N.D., had one active case as of Thursday, Feb. 23.

Vaccine Doses

As of Friday, Feb. 24, 1,662,761 total doses have been administered in Montana. There are 573,491 or 53 percent fully immunized Montanans.

In Roosevelt County, 15,307 total doses have been administered as of Friday, Feb. 24. There are 5,857 fully immunized for 53 percent of the county’s eligible population for vaccination.

In Valley County, 9,291 total doses have been administered. There are 3,301 fully immunized for 45 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In Daniels County, 1,978 total doses have been administered. There are 701 fully immunized for 43 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In McCone County, 1,298 total doses have been administered. There are 432 fully immunized for 26 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In Richland County, 11,011 total doses have been administered. There are 4,161 fully immunized for 38 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In Phillips County, 4,856 total doses have been administered. There are 1,791 fully immunized for 46 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In Sheridan County, 5,558 total doses have been administered. There are 1,860 fully immunized for 57 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.
