Bainville Boys Stop Savage

The Bainville scored a 4238 conference win during boys’ basketball action in Savage on Friday, Jan. 20.

Bainville held a 23-21 halftime lead, but Savage closed the margin to 31-30 in the third quarter.

The Bulldogs outscored Savage by an 11-8 margin in the fourth quarter. Sam Butikofer scored five points in the period.

S. Butikofer and Ayden Knudsen scored 14 points each to lead the Bulldogs.

Also scoring were Reese Harmon with five, Alex Strickland with five and Chuck Butikofer with four points.

Leading the Warriors were Sayer Erickson with 14 and Zane Zilgeram with 11 points.
