Bainville Boys Fall Short In Fairview

Bainville lost at Fairview by a 67-51 final during boys’ basketball action in Fairview on Saturday, Jan. 14.

Fairview jumped out to a 23-7 lead in the first quarter and held a 37-20 half-time advantage.

The Bulldogs accounted for 15 points in the third quarter to close the margin to 42-35, but Fairview scored 25 points in the final period.

Ayden Knudson accounted for 31 points for the Bulldogs. Charles Butikofer added 10 points.

Also scoring were Alex Strickland with five, Rowan Wilson with three and Samuel Butikofer with two points.

Leading the Warriors were Hunter Sharbono with 30, Tyler Loan with 17 and Jeff Tjelde with 10 points.

The Bulldogs will travel to Savage on Friday, Jan. 20, and MonDak on Saturday, Jan. 21.
