Wolf Point’s Peyton Summers earned All-State honors by placing 12th at the Class B state cross country meet.
Poplar’s boys placed 14th in the team standings at the state meet with 355 points. Miles Boxer led Poplar by taking 39th place with a time of 18:31.1. Poplar’s girls were sixth in the team standings with 186 points. Reinita Irizarry highlighted Poplar’s efforts by placing 20th with a time of 21:39.3. Jazmyn Carrywater finished 23rd at 21:58.6. Mattie Falls Down earned 24th at 22:05.3.

Poplar surprised Harlem to qualify for the divisional volleyball tournament. It was the first time that the Indians have qualified for the divisional tournament in several years.
Wolf Point placed third at the district volleyball tournament to advance to the divisional tourney. The Wolves fell short against Malta in a tough four-set battle for second place.
The Wolves dropped matches against Choteau and Cut Bank during the divisional volleyball tournament.

Wolf Point Elks Lodge #1764 was pleased to see a good turnout for its annual Elks Hoop Shoot held at Wolf Point High School on Nov. 6. There were 26 participants during the local event.
Wolf Point’s J’Elle Garfield and Katelyn MacDonald were selected to the All-Conference volleyball team. Wolf Point’s Sierra Hamilton, Poplar’s EmmaRae Martell and Poplar’s Morgen Nordwick were voted to the second team.
Wolf Point’s Juliun Benson was named to the All-State football team. Earning conference honors for the Wolves were Benson, Preston Swenson, Charles Page and Lennoxx Lilley.

Frazer’s girls’ basketball squad downed Park City by a 40-33 final.
Wolf Point’s and Poplar’s wrestling teams opened their seasons at the Eagle Invitational in Sidney. Wolf Point’s Juliun Benson and Gaige Bushman performed well at the Indigenous Football Bowl held in Minneapolis. Benson was selected the offensive most valuable player after finishing with more than 200 yards receiving including two touchdowns.
Lustre’s boys’ basketball squads strong start included victories over Fairview and Plentywood during the Scobey Invitational.
Poplar’s wrestlers came away with two individual championships during the Glasgow Invitational on Dec. 10. Angelina Escarcega won the title in the girls’ division at 107 pounds. Blake Follette earned the championship at 114 pounds in the girls’ division.
Wolf Point’s boys scored a 58-57 win over Malta to improve their league record to 3-0.

Wolf Point was represented well by high school seniors Julianna Garfield and Rebekah Landsrud during the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade in Honolulu, Hawaii, The event, through Varsity Spirit, featured 800 of the top cheerleaders in the country.
Poplar’s boys’ basketball squad outscored Harlem, 75-52, for its first league victory of the season. Leading the way for the Indians were Geordy Medicine Cloud with 22 and Delray Lilley with 21 points.
Wolf Point’s Joli Beston earned first place and was voted the outstanding female wrestler at the Great Falls CMR Holiday Classic. Angelina Escarcega came through with a championship performance at 100 pounds in the girls’ division.
