County Staying Steady With Active COVID Cases

Roosevelt County reported 49 active COVID cases as of Friday, Dec. 30. There have been 3,899 total cases in the county. Roosevelt County Health Department hosts COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Wolf Point the first and third Thursdays of the month, and in Culbertson on the fourth Thursday. Clinics for children 5-11 years of age are held every three weeks on Fridays. Call 406-653-6223 for a COVID vaccine appointment.

Area Statistics

Daniels County had 10 active cases as of Friday, Dec. 30. The county has 477 cumulative cases. Valley County reported five active cases as of Friday, Dec. 30. The county has 2,087 cumulative cases. In McCone County, there was one active case as of Friday, Dec. 30. There have been 446 cumulative cases.

Phillips County had five active cases as of Friday, Dec. 30. There have been 1,136 cumulative cases in the county.

For Richland County, there were six active cases as of Friday, Dec. 30. There have been 2,955 cumulative cases.

Sheridan County had two active cases as of Friday, Dec. 30. There have been 890 cumulative cases in the county.

Statewide

According to Montana health officials, the state’s total number of known cases now stands at 323,055 since the start of the pandemic. Around the state, there are 1,173 active cases and 785 newly reported cases in the last week.

By Friday, Dec. 30, a total of 3,621 deaths have been reported statewide. A total of 13,865 individuals have been hospitalized.

North Dakota Statistics

Williams County, N.D., had 27 active cases as of Thursday, Dec. 29.

McKenzie County, N.D., had two active cases as of Thursday, Dec. 29.

Divide County, N.D., had three active cases as of Thursday, Dec. 29.

Vaccine Doses

As of Friday, Dec. 30, 1,643,526 total doses have been administered in Montana. There are 563,136 or 52 percent fully immunized Montanans.

In Roosevelt County, 15,096 total doses have been administered as of Friday, Dec. 30. There are 5,823 fully immunized for 53 percent of the county’s eligible population for vaccination.

In Valley County, 9,219 total doses have been administered. There are 3,288 fully immunized for 45 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In Daniels County, 1,961 total doses have been administered. There are 700 fully immunized for 43 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In McCone County, 1,286 total doses have been administered. There are 433 fully immunized for 26 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In Richland County, 10,934 total doses have been administered. There are 4,144 fully immunized for 38 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In Phillips County, 4,809 total doses have been administered. There are 1,780 fully immunized for 45 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In Sheridan County, 5,520 total doses have been administered. There are 1,836 fully immunized for 56 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.
