Wolves Down Roundup

 

The Wolf Point Wolves outscored Roundup, 81-37, during non-conference boys’ basketball action in Lockwood on Saturday, Dec. 10.

“It was a strong second half,” Wolf Point coach Cole Hanks said. “We got a lot of good experience for these younger kids.: Wolf Point jumped out to a 15-4 advantage in the first quarter.

Kelby Bauer hit two three-pointers during the period.

The Wolves added 18 more points in the second quarter for a 33-16 lead. Cade Stafne connected on two three-pointers in the quarter.

Wolf Point exploded for 28 points in the third quarter to increase its advantage to 6129. Jack Kolstad accounted for 11 points and Kraven Silk added seven points in the period.

Reaching double figures for the Wolves were Silk with 17, Kolstad with 15, Bauer with 14 and Stafne with 14 points.

Also scoring were Lennox Lilley with eight, Peyton Summers with five, Charlie Page with four, Chief Stafne with two and Mike Bell with two.

The Wolves will travel to Poplar on Friday, Dec. 16, and host Malta on Saturday, Dec. 17.
