Wolf Point Boys Capture Win Over St. Labre

 

Despite being short-handed, Wolf Point’s boys’ basketball squad downed St. Labre by an 82-72 final in Lockwood on Friday, Dec. 9.

The Wolves gained a 1512 lead during the opening quarter. Kelby Bauer and Peyton Summers each scored four points in the first quarter.

After holding a 34-31 halftime advantage, the Wolves increased the margin to 59-49 in the third quarter. Kraven Silk tallied nine of Wolf Point’s points in the third quarter.

Wolf Point’s top scorers included Silk with 22 and Bower with 15 points. Also reaching double figures were Summers with 12, Jack Kolstad with 11 and Lennox Lilley with 10 points.

Rounding out the scoring were Mike Bell with six, Cade Stafne with four and Josh Jackson with two points.

Leading St. Labre were Solan Medicine Bull with 27 and Seth Hill with 18 points.
