Cowgirls Down Fusion By 60-22 Margin

The Culbertson Cowgirls cruised to a 60-22 home victory over the Richey/Lambert Fusion on Saturday, Dec. 10.

The Cowgirls took control from the start with a 13-2 lead in the first quarter. Destiny Thompson tallied five points in the quarter.

Culbertson increased its advantage to 31-11 in the second period. Thompson scored five while Alicyn Ator and Megan Granbois each added four points in the quarter.

Thompson finished with 20 points and Granbois scored 12 points. Makena Hauge and Perla Burciaga added nine points each. Also scoring were Ivy Colvin scored six and Ator had four points.

Leading the Fusion with six points each were Lauren Prevost and Brie Mullin.
