Bulldogs Keep Rolling With Win Over Circle

The Bainville Bulldogs improved to 4-0 this boys’ basketball campaign with a 6046 home victory over Circle on Saturday, Dec. 10.

A strong second half by the Bulldogs was the difference. Bainville trailed 34-30 at the half, but the Bulldogs outscored Circle, 12-8, in the third quarter for a 42-42 deadlock. Bainville’s Alex Strickland and Charles Butikofer each scored four points in the quarter.

The Bulldogs then struck for 18 points in the final period for the victory. Sam Butikofer accounted for seven points in the period to lead the attack. Ayden Knudsen added five points.

Top scorers for the Bulldogs were Knudsen with 23 and C. Butikofer with 18 points. Strickland finished with 10 and S. Butikofer had nine points.

Leading Circle were Beau Beery with 15, Chance Beley with 14 and Jace Curtiss with 11 points.

The Bulldogs will travel to Brockton on Friday, Dec. 16, and Froid/Lake on Saturday, Dec. 17.
