Bulldogs Open By Defeating Fusion

Bainville’s girls basketball team exploded for 24 points in the first quarter and earned a 62-35 win over Richey/Lambert on Friday, Dec. 2.

The visiting Bulldogs enjoyed a 24-3 lead after the first quarter of play. Leading Bainville’s attack in the first quarter were Hailey Berwick with seven points and Elsie Wilson with six points.

The Bulldogs added 13 points in the second quarter to grab a 37-11 advantage.

Three-pointers by Miah Pippenger and Berwick led Bainville to a 51-18 lead in the third quarter.

Bainville’s top scorers for the game were Berwick with 13, Brecklyn Pippenger with 11 and Wilson with 10 points.

Also scoring were M. Pippenger with seven, Lila Butikofer with six, Chandi Johnson with five, Kaelyn Romo with four, Tally Berwick with four and Kendra Romo with two points.

Top scorers for the Fusion were Kiera Rains with 13 and Halley Mullin with nine.
