County Employees Can’t Use Equipment For Personal Use

The Roosevelt County commissioners have stopped a practice of county employees using county road equipment for personal use.

After receiving a complaint last week, commissioners stressed to employees that they can’t use equipment on their own property.

Commissioners explained that a non-official, verbal agreement allowed employees to use equipment about 10 years ago, but that agreement hasn’t been in effect for several years.
