Bainville Falls In Wibaux

 

The Bainville Bulldogs were defeated in Wibaux by a 55-14 margin on Saturday, Oct. 15.

Wibaux jumped out to a 12-0 lead in the conference football game on a 40-yard and 28-yard touchdown runs.

Bainville closed the margin to 12-6 when Rowan Wilson connected with Alex Strickland on a 15-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter. Strickland’s kick put the margin at 12-8.

The Longhorns accounted for the final two touchdowns of the half on a 20-yard pass and an eight-yard run for a 26-8 advantage.

Wibaux accounted for 19 points in the third quarter on a nine-yard pass, a five-yard run and a three-yard run.

The Bulldogs struck early in the fourth quarter on a 10yard pass from Sam Butikofer to Adrian Anderson to close the margin to 45-14.

Wibaux added a 15-yard touchdown run and a safety for the 55-14 final.

The Bulldogs will finish their season with a home game against Jordan at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20.
