Red Hawks Beat North Country

The Froid/Lake Red Hawks earned a hard-fought victory over North Country in a battle of two of the Eastern C’s top volleyball squads on Saturday, Oct. 1. The Red Hawks won by a 21-25, 25-23, 23-25, 25-21, 15-10 final.

Helping lead the Red Hawks to the victory was Carolyne Christoffersen with 16 kills, seven blocks, three aces and four digs.

Dasani Nesbit finished with 16 kills, two blocks, two aces and three digs.

Baylee Davidson added four blocks, 38 assists, seven digs and one ace.

Aleah Johnson accounted for eight digs and one ace.

Jaeleigh Davidson had three kills and one dig.

Mara Salvevold scored six kills and five digs. Alexa Nelson had four digs.

The Red Hawks opened their weekend with a 2513, 25-10, 25-10, victory over MonDak on Friday, Sept, 30.

Froid/Lake will travel to Nashua on Thursday, Oct. 6.
