Fire Blotter Sept. 12: Wolf Point Volunteer Fire Department responded to a mutual aid call from McCone County at 10:41 p.m. for a haystack fire that burned 120 bales. Two firefighters responded in one truck.

At 4:40 p.m., three trucks and five personnel responded to a combine on fire five miles north on Windy Hill Road.

Sept. 13: At 1:35 a.m., firefighters were called to a grass fire by the lagoon. Two trucks and three firefighters responded to extinguish the blaze.

At 2:19 p.m., four firefighters responded to a gas leak on the 500 block of Third Avenue South with one truck.

Sept. 15: Two trucks and four firefighters responded to a grass fire at Honda Hills that burned about two acres. The WPFVD was assisted by four Bureau of Indian Affairs fire trucks with 12 crew members.
