Roosevelt County Fair Starts Tuesday

The Roosevelt County Fair in Culbertson kicks off Tuesday, Aug. 9, with 4-H equine competition at the Culbertson Saddle Club one mile north of the fairgrounds. Wednesday will see the small animal show at 5:30 p.m., followed by a craft night and a youth glow stick dance and activities from 7-10 p.m. Thursday will feature a magic show at noon, followed by the goat and sheep livestock show at 4:30 p.m., a corn feed/alumni BBQ at 5:30 p.m. and karaoke at 8 p.m. Free concert headliners Marshall Catch will perform Friday night following the livestock auction at 6 p.m.

The final day, Saturday, Aug. 14, will see a magic show at 11 a.m. and Money in the Straw sponsored by Opportunity Bank at 1:30 p,m.. The fair closes at 3 p.m. A ranch rodeo is planned for 5:30 p,m. at the Saddle Club.
