Organizations Donate To Food Pantry

The community continues to step up for the Wolf Point Food Pantry.

Board member Gary Johnson reports that the Wolf Point Elks Lodge has recently donated $2,000 and the Wolf Point Lions Club has donated $750 to help the food pantry.

The food pantry is available to all people who are food insecure.

The food pantry is located at 502 Main St. and is open the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Johnson said the hope is to be open twice a month, but it could be a challenge because of food supply.

The organization has a core group of volunteers but need more people especially people who can do quite a bit of lifting.
