NEMHS Foundation Starting Plans For Bra Auction

A new fundraiser appears to be heading to Roosevelt County as NEMHS Charitable Foundation executive director Brandi Wilkinson is working on putting together a “Bucks for Bra” event.

The Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture approved having the auction as part of an after-hours event from 5 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 28, at the Sherman Inn.

Wilkinson said she will aim to get area residents and groups to decorate bras in fun and unique fashions.

Once the bras are decorated, tentatively by Oct. 1, she will request businesses to showcase their bras in order for the public to get excited for the auction.

All funds will go toward the foundation’s annual project, which this year is Faith Home.

She noted that such an auction has been very successful in other communities including Sidney.
