Wolf Point High School seniors were very successful in obtaining scholarships this school year.

Counselor Erin Loendorf announced that Fort Peck Community College awarded each graduate a tuition waiver scholarship worth $3,360 for a total of $164,640.

Salutatorian Hamyanie Campbell, who will attend Montana State University in Billings, has received the following scholarships: Opportunity Bank Salutatorian, National Honor Society, Elks Lodge Most Valuable Student which was matched by Cape Air, Wolf Point Optimist Club, Donald W. Frank Integrity, Austin Fullerton Memorial, Eastern Montana Yellowjackets, MSUB Excellence, MSUB Student Access Grant, Fort Peck Tribes’ Salutatorian, Patty Bird Memorial and Wolf Point Credit Union.

Valedictorian Josette Kolstad, who will attend Montana State University in Bozeman, received the Opportunity Bank Valedictorian scholarship, the Robert and Elsie Penner Memorial Scholarship, the National Honor Society Scholarship, the Nemont Scholarship and the Montana State University Premier Scholarship.

Ethan Blount, who will attend Rocky Mountain College, earned the National Honor Society scholarship, Wolf Point Fire Department scholarship, Donald W. Frank Integrity scholarship, the Patty Bird Memorial scholarship, the Wolf Point Booster Club scholarship and the Wolf Point Education Association Jeans Fund scholarship.

Claire Kinzle, who will attend Pima Medical Institute in Dillon, received the National Honor Society scholarship, the “Be Bold” scholarship, the Cover Your Cost scholarship, Agland Co-op scholarship and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church scholarship.

Jack Sprague, who will attend the University of Jamestown, was the recipient of the National Honor Society scholarship, University of Jamestown baseball and physical therapy scholarship and University of Jamestown Legacy Award scholarship.

Kamea Fourstar, who will attend Montana State University in Bozeman, received the Wolf Point Lions Club scholarship, the National Honor Society scholarship and the Montana State University Cat scholarship.

Alexander MacDonald, who will attend the University of Montana, earned the National Honor Society scholarship, Optimist Club scholarship, Lions Club scholarship and University of Montana Academic Achievement scholarship.

Tia Nygard, who will attend the Skin Science Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah, received the National Honor Society scholarship, Wolf Point Booster Club scholarship and the Wolf Point Education Association Jeans Fund scholarship.

Laykin Cantrell, who will attend the University of Montana, received the National Honor Society scholarship, the Francis and Florence Jones Greaves Native American scholarship, the Shallenberger/ Alumni Association in Physics scholarship, the University of Montana Academic Achievement scholarship and the Payne Family Impact School scholarship.

Ben Boysun, who will attend Fort Peck Community College, received the National Honor Society scholarship and the Wolf Point Education Association scholarship.

Jayme Martell, who will attend Fort Peck Community College, won the Bill and Pat Henry Memorial Scholarship and Wolf Point Walleyes Scholarship.

Daniel Sears, who will attend Montana State University in Bozeman, received the National Honor Society scholarship.

Alexandra Crawford Bleazard, who will attend Montana State University in Bozeman, received the Montana State University Premier scholarship.
