County Reports Two Active COVID Cases

Roosevelt County currently has two active COVID cases. There have been 74 COVID-related deaths in the county.

Adult COVID vaccination clinics are scheduled from 3-5 p.m. on May 26 in Culbertson, June 2 in Wolf Point, June 16 in Wolf Point and June 23 in Culbertson.

A vaccination clinic for children, ages 5-11, is from 1-4 p.m. on June 10 in Wolf Point.

County health officials encourage all residents aged 5 and up to be vaccinated and those over 16 should consider getting booster doses. Immunizations are by appointment only. For questions or to schedule an appointment, call 406-653-6223.

Area Statistics

Daniels County had zero active cases as of Friday, May 20. The county has 386 cumulative cases. Valley County reported 11 active cases as of Friday, May 20. The county has 1,716 cumulative cases. In McCone County, there are no active cases as of Friday, May 20. There have been 383 cumulative cases.

Phillips County had zero active cases as of Friday, May 20. There have been 1,060 cumulative cases in the county.

For Richland County, there were eight active cases as of Friday, May 20. There have been 2,654 cumulative cases.

Sheridan County had zero active cases as of Friday, May 20. There have been 699 cumulative cases in the county.

Statewide

According to Montana health officials, the state’s total number of known cases now stands at 276,192 since the start of the pandemic.

Around the state, there are 1,242 active cases and 1,065 newly reported cases in the last week.

By Friday, May 20, a total of 3,385 deaths have been reported statewide. A total of 11,981 have been hospitalized.

North Dakota Statistics

Williams County, N.D., had 10 active cases as of Thursday, May 19.

McKenzie County, N.D., had three active cases as of Thursday, May 19.

Divide County, N.D., had two active cases as of Thursday, May 19.

Vaccine Doses

As of Friday, May 20, 1,469,655 total doses have been administered in Montana. There are 564,439 or 55 percent fully immunized Montanans.

In Roosevelt County, 12,582 total doses have been administered as of Friday, May 20. There are 5,155 fully immunized for 52 percent of the county’s 9,918 eligible for vaccination.

In Valley County, 8,023 total doses have been administered. There are 3,219 fully immunized for 46 percent of the county’s 6,931 eligible for vaccination.

In Daniels County, 1,777 total doses have been administered. There are 712 fully immunized for 46 percent of the county’s 1,559 eligible for vaccination.

In McCone County, 1,137 total doses have been administered. There are 430 fully immunized for 28 percent of the county’s 1,562 eligible for vaccination.

In Richland County, 10,135 total doses have been administered. There are 4,270 fully immunized for 41 percent of the county’s 10,310 eligible for vaccination.

In Phillips County, 4,368 total doses have been administered. There are 1,777 fully immunized for 48 percent of the county’s 3,675 eligible for vaccination.

In Sheridan County, 4,785 total doses have been administered. There are 1,847 fully immunized for 60 percent of the county’s 3,075 eligible for vaccination.
