Terrance Kimberly “Kim” Billy, 66, of Wolf Point died May 7, 2022, at NEMHS.
He was born Aug. 19, 1955, to Melvin and Alice Billy in Wolf Point and was an enrolled member of the Chippewa- Cree tribe. He gained a true understanding of responsibility and hard work while growing up on the family ranch at Rocky Boy and building fences for his father’s and uncle’s business, B & B Fencing.
He graduated from Box Elder High School in 1975. After graduating, he went to work for Montana Power and later moved back to Wolf Point to take care of his grandparents, Rosella and George Gregg.
He eventually went to work for A& S Industries of Poplar, first building nets and later using his welding skills in constructing metal boxes which were used to deliver medical supplies to the military during the Desert Storm Conflict.
He thoroughly enjoyed spending time fishing and hunting with his grandfather, playing pool, darts and the machines.
After moving to Wolf Point, he met Melody Windsor. After two years of devotion to each other, they were married Aug. 19, 1988. This date was a special gift to each other in that each were born on Aug. 19, one year apart.
