Junior High Athletes Place In Fairview

Wolf Point’s junior high track athletes accounted for 17 points in the girls’ division and 27 points in the boys’ division at the meet in Fairview on Thursday, April 29.

Andrew Dschaak finished third in the 400-meter dash and 300-meter hurdles.

Kolby Burshia placed second in the high jump, fifth in the discus, fourth in the shot put and sixth in the 200-meter hurdles.

Also in the top 10 were Burshia at eighth in the 100-meter hurdles, Jack Bow at ninth in the shot put and Dschaak at eighth in the 200.

Leading Wolf Point’s girls was Ali Corpron with a thirdplace showing in the shot put. Marley MacDonald took fourth in the shot put and fifth in the discus.

Kashlyn Speak Thunder finished fifth in the 200-meter hurdles and 400-meter dash. Brenna Blount placed sixth in the 1600. Blount was eighth in the 1600 and 400. Kaleah White Bear was ninth in the shot put.
