Golf Team Features Four Students

Culbertson’s golf team started practice on Monday, March 15, with four members.

The squad consists of senior Colter Romo, junior Isaiah Bighorn, sophomore Makena Hauge and freshman Kale Windy Boy.

Romo has the most experience as the team as he golfed for the Cowboys in 2019. He came close to qualifying for the state meet as a sophomore.

Coach D.J. Hauge said both girls, Hauge and Windy Boy, golfed when they were younger.

Coach Hauge said he wants to qualify as many students for state as possible and he hopes they improve each week.

Culbertson is scheduled to open its season in Wolf Point on Thursday, April 1.
