Florian “Jim” Neutgens


Florian James “Jim,” Neutgens, 73, died in the Big Horn County Memorial Hospital on Dec. 25, 2020.
He was born Sept. 1, 1947, to James and Martha (Sigg) Neutgens in Wolf Point. He grew up in Wolf Point.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He married Belinda Hoffard Dec. 21, 1968, in Wolf Point. Jim and Belinda lived in Wolf Point until 1975 when they moved to Hardin. The couple had two children Sue and James “Jay.” They coowned and operated the Ben Franklin Store, later renamed Jimmies, until Belinda’s death in 1999.
Jim and Belinda were a devoted couple and one rarely saw one without the other. He continued to manage the store with the help of his son Jay. He was an active member of the Hardin Business Community for many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Belinda; daughter, Sue; and brother, Jerry Neutgens.
He is survived by his son, Jay; one grandson; brothers, Larry and Mike Neutgens; and sister, Mari Steffen.
Cremation has taken place and services are pending under the direction of Bullis Mortuary.
