Scobey Baker


Scobey George Baker Sr., 44, of Wolf Point died Nov. 15, 2020, at the Harbor View Medical Center in Seattle, Wash.
He was born on July 30, 1976, in Wolf Point.
He enjoyed spending time with his family. He often went fishing with his sisters, Jen and Es, and their children. He loved family gatherings where he would laugh, eat and tease everyone.
He enjoyed watching football, always cheering on his team, the Raiders. He supported and encouraged his nieces and nephews to strive hard in their sporting events. His sons, Davis and Scobey John, were often by his side. He would sometimes go to peyote meetings with his father William and his nephew Cade. He enjoyed online gaming and in fact had an online gaming family TSDS who he often called and video chatted.
He is survived by his mother, Nadine Shawl McClammy; father, William John Baker; sisters, Kayleen Tretheway, Stanna Plain Bull, Laurie Baker, Kelly R B Aune, Jennifer Medicine Cloud and Kendra Teague; brothers, Gavin Baker, Brendon Wajunta Sr., Kale Bricksaw and Mahto Cheya Williams; sons, Davis Cravens and Scobey Baker Jr.; two grandsons; and special friend, Valerie White Hawk.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, George Mc-Clammy Jr.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, at King Cemetery in Wolf Point.
