Toves Enjoys Growing Up In Small Community

Wolf Point High School senior Kaholo Toves appreciates everything that the school and the community offers their young people.
“It’s a small community so I know everybody,” Toves said. “I have a lot of friends and family here.”
He is a member of the National Honor Society and carries a 3.8 grade point average. He ranks fifth in his class.
Toves said his favorite class is chemistry.
His favorite teacher is Mr. Wilson.
“He’s a fun teacher and I learn a lot in his classroom,” Toves said.
The senior competes in cross country, basketball and track. He says track is his favorite sport. “It’s the sport that I’m best at,” Toves said. “It’s most enjoyable.”
His events in track and field include the long jump, 100, 200 and 400-meter relay.
In basketball, he wants to see more time at the varsity level this year.
“Hopefully, we will win another district championship and go to divisionals and hopefully state,” Toves said.
He plans to compete in either cross-country or track at the collegiate level. He said he will study either real estate or engi-Kaholo neering.
