The three-day Wolf Point Wild Horse Stampede rodeo was held July 9-11 at Marvin Brookman Stadium.

Though many of the weekend’s events were canceled due to COVID-19 concerns, rodeo-goers were treated to three days of high quality contestants and had plenty of room to socially-distance if they chose to. Results All-around cowboy: Zack Jongbloed, $229, tie-down roping and steer wrestling.

Timers were Rowena Nelson and Eunice Christophersen. Will Rasmussen was announcer. The specialty act/ clown/barrelman was Tate Rhoads. Bullfighters were Dakoda Simmes and J.D. Harrell. Flankman was Kenny Barringer. Chute bosses were Dave Harrell and Kenny Barringer. Pickup men were Shane Moran, Brent Sutton and K.C. Verhelst.
