Hunter Azure Posts First MMA Loss

Poplar’s Hunter Azure recorded his first Mixed Martial Arts career loss to Brian Kelleher in Jacksonville, Fla., Wednesday, May 13.

The loss was a knockout at 3:40 in the second round.

Azure, 28, was born and raised in Poplar, was a state champion wrestler for Poplar High School and lives now in Arizona.

Azure (8-0-0) is affiliated with United Fight Club and trains in Phoenix, Ariz.
