Four players reached double figures as Frazer’s girls’ basketball team defeated Nashua, 76-37, on Tuesday, Dec. 17. The Bearcubs jumped out to a 31-7 advantage in the first quarter and 45-13 half-time lead. Poplar’s girls’ basketball team started its league schedule on a good note by rolling over Harlem, 77-41, on Friday, Dec. 20. The Indians jumped out to an 18-7 advantage in the first quarter. Poplar exploded for 26 points in the second period for 44-13 half-time lead. Poplar led 58-27 after three quarters of play. Leading Poplar’s attack were Bailey Dupree with 24 and Mattie Ayers
