Three arraignments were heard in front of District Judge Benjamin Fosland during hearings in District Court on Tuesday, April 29. Brian Ray Gustafson made not guilty pleas to the felony charge of possession of dangerous drugs and misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. If convicted of the felony charge, Gustafson faces maximum penalties of five years in prison, a $5,000 fine

The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 113 calls from March 24 to March 31. The calls included the following: April 28 Deputies received a report from an adult male in Wolf Point that juveniles were throwing fireworks at him. Deputy/coroner went to the Poplar hospital for a report of an attended death. The adult male died from natural causes. April 29 Deputies responded
