On April 30, 2026 at 4:25 p.m., Chad E. Redstone went home to be with his Heavenly Father. He passed away at the Trinity Hospital in Wolf Point. Chad was born in Wolf Point on Sept. 26, 1970, the youngest of seven children to Everett and Joan Redstone. Chad began his education in Wolf Point and later moved to Billings to attend grade school. In the third grade, he really enjoyed wrestling and he persevered until he won first place. After quite a few years in Billings, he moved back to Wolf Point to further his education. In 1996, Chad moved to Minnesota to live with his youngest sister, Jackie, and her husband, Bill, where he worked at a car wash and later worked at Sears. Later on, he moved to Polson with his sister, Traci, and family. He worked at Grey Wolf Trading where he was an assembler and packager. Chad loved swimming at Blue Bay on the Flathead Lake with his friends. While living in Polson, he made a decision to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior and was water baptized in Flathead Lake the summer of 2002. Chad decided to move back home to Wolf Point to be with his mother and family. He did odd jobs working as a caregiver and as a laborer for Bremner Drywall. During this time, he loved to work with his brother, Jay, with his meat processing business. They hunted and prepared the meat for Jay’s famous deer summer sausage. Chad’s favorite times were with family and friends watching movies, hunting, fishing and traveling. But, his favorite hobbies were drawing, listening to music, playing with his grandson and watching movies. He was a collector of music, movies and sports memorabilia. Chad was a jokester and enjoyed scoring on his friends.

Joyce Kaye Moran-Simons, 67, died Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Faith Lutheran Home in Wolf Point. She was born Sept. 3, 1958, in Poplar to Madeline and Vincent Moran Sr. She graduated from Poplar High School in 1977. She later moved to Havre to attend Montana State University - Northern for a short time with her aunt Trivian by her side. In 1978, she returned home and began her career with the Fort Peck Tribes Head Start Program, where she faithfully worked until 2021. On Feb. 24, 1978, she married Jim Simons. On April 15, 1990, they started their family when they adopted her nephew, Todd. As Todd’s love for sports grew, so did her joy in supporting him. She loved cheering him on in every activity he pursued. She and Jim also shared a special bond with their niece, Ashley Porras, whom they helped raise and supported throughout her life and journey into parenthood. Later in life, she and Jim divorced but remained close friends. She had a fun-loving spirit and a wonderful sense of humor. On her good days, she was silly, full of laughter and knew how to make those around her smile. She enjoyed a good road trip or Moran-Simons

Melvin Martell, 49, of Wolf Point died May 3, 2026, in Wolf Point. Funeral services are pending completion of arrangements.
