Officers Elected For JOM Committee
New officers were elected during the Wolf Point School District’s JOM (Johnson- O’Malley) committee meeting held at the high school on Monday, Oct. 7.
Imogene Lilley accepted the position as chairman for the school year.
Also elected were Holly Hamilton as vice chair and Mandi Campbell as secretary.
The group meets at 5:30 p.m. in the library on the first Monday of each month.
Governor Honors Japp, Other Area Veterans
Gov. Greg Gianforte honored five veterans last week across eastern Montana with his 2023 Montana Governor’s Veteran Commendation. Four of the veterans honored included U.S. Air Force Veteran Fitch Hons of Scobey, U.S. Army Veteran Chante Japp of Poplar, U.S. Marine Corps Veteran Clint Jacobs of Culbertson and U.S. Army Veteran Gerry Glasser of Glendive.

Wolf Point High School senior Jaycen Williams is one of the students that helps create positive school spirit for the Wolves.
Williams plays the tenor saxophone for both the regular school band and the pep band. She has been playing the instrument for only a little more than a year.
